The purpose of the inspection is two-fold: to check that the College is fully compliant with all aspects of the regulations that apply to independent schools, and to assess the quality of the education it provides.
Pages 7 and 8 relate to compliance and Ardingly College have been judged fully compliant in all areas, including safeguarding, health and safety and boarding.
Pages 10-15 make qualitative judgements on all aspects of the College, from pre-prep to senior, and across all subject areas and school activities beyond the classroom. Assessments are also made about the pupils’ personal development. The headline judgement is that the College is rated as Excellent (the highest rating) on both categories of Achievements and Personal Development.
